Venice Biennale, the “Look Up” Project Also Speaks Umbrian
By Leonardo Malà
There is an America that continues to look upward despite drone bombings or space shields, but with the intent of uplifting thought, celebrating the beauty that exists in the world, and drawing inspiration from it. The visionary behind this idea is Rachel D. Vancelette, one of the most influential interpreters of contemporary culture, described by industry insiders as a “global architect.” Her latest project is called Look Up — an invitation directed toward a group of creative and inspired artists capable of engaging a global audience, one that has already admired their interventions on the giant screens of Times Square and that is now moving to the Venice Biennale.
